The Donoho School is a private school in Anniston, Alabama that was honored by the Blue Ribbon Schools Program in 2005.〔(), accessed November 5, 2009〕 The Donoho School serves students in grades 1 through 12 as well as preschool and early childhood education.〔 == Facilities == "The Donoho School" campus of approximately 75 acres is located in the beautiful foothills of the southern Appalachian Mountains. Anniston, Alabama is easily accessible with two exits on Interstate Route 20 approximately 100 miles from Atlanta, Georgia, to the east, and 60 miles from Birmingham, Alabama, to the west. The Upper, Middle and Lower divisions are in separate buildings though closely located. The academic facilities are designed to accommodate the college preparatory program and accentuate the learning environment. The atmosphere for learning is typified by the Harriet Wallis Donoho Library that makes available to students over 14,000 volumes, distributes over 1000 teaching units of audio visual software, and provides reference materials available on CD-ROMs and online for curriculum enrichment.
